Terms of Service, Billing and User Agreement

What the service is

We sell prepaid access to AI models that other companies run. You top up a wallet, we issue you one API key, and your key carries a spend limit equal to your balance. Your requests go straight from your code to the API endpoint. They do not pass through this website.

We are a reseller of access. We do not build, host, or train the models, and we cannot change how they behave.

Who can sign up

You need to be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must not be located in a country under comprehensive sanctions that would make it unlawful for us or our suppliers to serve you, and you must not be on a restricted party list. Signing in from a GitHub account and a Google account creates two separate accounts with separate wallets, even when both use the same email address.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub or Google. We never see or set a password, so the security of your account rests on the security of whichever provider you use. Turn on two factor authentication there. Anyone who can sign in as you can spend your balance.

Tell us at support@dogpt.ir if you think someone else has reached your account, and rotate your API key straight away.

Your API key

Each account has one active key. We show it once when you create it and once after each rotation, then we keep only its first characters so you can recognise it. We cannot recover a key you have lost. Rotate it and you get a new secret on the same key record, which keeps your balance and usage history intact.

Rotation is limited to once an hour and five times per calendar month in UTC. The limit exists to stop a runaway script from churning your credentials.

Treat the key like a password. Keep it out of client side code, public repositories, and screenshots. You are responsible for what is spent through your key, including spend by someone who obtained it from you or from a system you control. If a key leaks, rotate it. The old secret stops working immediately.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it
  • generate content that sexually exploits children, incites violence, or harasses a person
  • build or distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam campaigns
  • infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, patent, or trade secret
  • impersonate a real person or organisation in a way designed to deceive, or present model output as coming from someone who did not write it
  • probe, scan, or overload our systems, or work around the spend limit attached to your key
  • resell raw key access as a competing gateway. Building a product or service that calls the API on your users' behalf is fine.

The model providers behind the API publish their own usage policies. Those apply to your requests as well, and a provider can refuse or block a request on its own terms.

Credit, prices, and payment

Credit is sold in fixed amounts of 5, 20, 50, and 100 US dollars. One dollar paid buys one dollar of model spend. We add no margin and take no percentage of what you use.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive your card number. When a payment succeeds, Stripe notifies us and we credit your wallet. Credit is not a bank deposit, earns no interest, and has no cash value beyond its use on this service.

There is no subscription and no recurring charge. You are only ever billed for a top up you started yourself. Prices are exclusive of any tax that applies where you are, and you are responsible for that tax unless we state otherwise at checkout.

Refunds

Write to support@dogpt.ir within 30 days of a top up and we will refund the unspent part of it to the original payment method. Model spend that has already happened cannot be refunded, because we have already paid for it upstream. We may decline a refund where we have evidence of fraud or of a breach of these terms.

How spend is counted

The routing service that runs your requests meters them and reports a running total for your key. We read that total on a schedule, write the difference into your wallet as a debit, and update the spend limit we hold against your key.

Reconciliation runs every few minutes rather than instantly, so the balance on your dashboard can lag real usage slightly. The spend limit on the key is what actually stops requests once your credit is gone. Where our records and the upstream meter disagree, the upstream meter is the record of what you used.

Availability

We do not promise a particular uptime and we do not offer a service level agreement. Models come and go, providers change their prices and their rate limits, and any of that can happen without notice to us. We may add, change, or withdraw a model at any time.

If we discontinue the service entirely, we will email you and refund any unspent credit.

Your content and model output

Whatever you send to the API stays yours. We do not see it, store it, or train on it, because those requests never reach our servers. The provider that runs the model does receive it, and its terms and privacy policy govern what happens to it there.

You are responsible for checking output before you rely on it. Models invent facts, and two users can receive very similar output from the same prompt. Nothing the service produces is legal, medical, or financial advice.

Our material

The site, its design, and the DoGPT name and logo belong to us. Using the service does not give you a licence to them beyond what you need to use the service normally.

Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. Unspent credit is refundable under the refund section above.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used for fraud, that triggers a payment chargeback, or where a supplier or the law requires it. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. On closure your key stops working and, unless the account was closed for fraud, we refund the unspent balance.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that model output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Limit of our liability

We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

Your indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service, or because you broke these terms or the law, you will cover our reasonable legal costs and any damages awarded.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. For a change that materially affects you we will email the address on your account at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the new version. If you do not, close your account and ask for a refund of the unspent balance.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Talk to us first. Most problems get solved faster by email than by lawyers.
